Documents required for registration:
- Emirates ID
- Trade licence copy
- Event organiser NOC
- Tourism ID
Documents required for event:
- Valid e-Permit
- Completed ticketing fee forms
- Venue NOC
- Manager's cheque receipt (if applicable)
- A valid e-permit is required prior to completing your application.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) is required from the venue prior to completing your application.
- The completed ticketing fee forms and manager's cheque details (if required) must be attached to your form New Event Notification (NEN).
- Manager's cheque funds are blocked in your account but are not debited.
- Once approved, we will add your event to the DET system and share the details with your appointed ticket sales agents.
- One business day for non-seated events
- Five business days for seated events
It is free to apply, but additional fees may apply depending on the type of event.
1. Entertainment events
- Paid ticketed/registration event: 10% of total ticket/registration sales
- Free ticketed/registration event: AED 1 per ticket/registration
- Paid ticketed/registration event: 10% of total ticket/registration sales
- Free ticketed/registration event: AED 1 per ticket/registration
- Paid ticketed/registration event: 10% of total ticket/registration sales
- Free ticketed/registration event: AED 1 per ticket/registration
Note: As a general rule, paid events attract 10% ticketing fee on sold tickets whilst free events attracts AED 1 on all the tickets, unless your event is exempt, or there is an advance payment of ticketing fees. Further, an invoice will be generated within 10 days and payment will be due within 30 days post-event.
