Jobs of the Future Report

Published by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) in collaboration with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), the Jobs of the Future report provides actionable insights into preparing Dubai’s workforce for a future driven by innovation, technology, and sustainability. This comprehensive report delves into the global job market's transformation and the key skills needed to thrive in emerging industries. It highlights Dubai's current educational landscape, identifying gaps and opportunities to align learning pathways with future workforce demands. With contributions from global experts, proprietary surveys and key benchmarks, the report aims to foster a resilient and adaptable workforce to meet Dubai's ambitious economic agenda, D33.

Report Methodology

(1) The report incorporates findings from the proprietary “Dubai Future of Jobs Survey” (2023), involving ~7,800 students and educators.
(2) Benchmarks and data have been gathered from leading global reports, including the World Economic Forum’s “Future of Jobs” and the Dubai Future Foundation’s Global 50.
(3) Contributions from subject matter experts and secondary research have shaped insights into future workforce trends and educational needs.
